Return of the 17-Year Cicadas
Growing up in northeastern Oklahoma, the sound of cicadas in the summer was a staple. I never realized how much I actually liked that sound until years later when I lived elsewhere and didn't hear it. Here's a look at the 17-year lifecycle of these insects.
